Help Desk Engineer | Calabasas, CA
Job Summary
The Company is searching for a meticulous Help Desk Engineer who will be responsible for handling all internal IT concerns in support of a groundbreaking music creation application. The ideal candidate will have had extensive experience in maintaining an IT infrastructure supporting agile software development. This position reports to the Vice President of Technology Operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and sustain enterprise infrastructure, assisting in the planning for additions, deletions, and major modifications as necessary
- Establish technical help desk for troubleshooting all internal IT issues and responding to escalated user problems
- Ensure all system backups, archiving, and disaster recovery plans
- Develop and enforce IT and security policies with Management
- Maintain multiple static and mobile demo units, budgeting for audio, video, power, and networking concerns
- Oversee administration of all third-party software and services such as hosted source control, antivirus, and VOIP telecommunications
- Manage all hardware and software purchases via maintained vendor relationships, retaining master inventories and ensuring appropriate usage
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT engineering
- Outstanding attention to process and detail
- Fluency in Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix operating environments
- Strong underpinning in WAN, VPN networking, Google Apps, and VOIP communication
- Excellent communication skills for participating in IT design sessions
- MSCE / MCITP Certification or equivalent IT endorsement
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Significant audio or music experience a MAJOR plus!
