Quality Assurance Tester | Calabasas, CA
Job Summary
The Company is searching for an accomplished Quality Assurance Tester who has direct experience testing gaming applications on a wide variety of platforms including Apple OS X and popular web browsers. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and in conjunction with multiple software development and testing teams in support of a complex product release cycle. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assist in the resolution of software defects within the application and all online properties
- Detail and organize software issues using JIRA project tracking software
- Verify software developer corrections and close defect loops
- Operate multiple test cases simultaneously on various operating systems
- Run efficient and regular test checklists
- Collaborate with development and design teams to continually improve overall product quality and user experience
Requirements
- 2 years of Quality Assurance experience in gaming or social networking
- Fluency with various Microsoft and Apple operating systems, as well as web, mobile, and console platforms
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Bugzilla, DevTrack, or similar bug tracking software
- Impeccable time management and communication skills
- Comfortable in high pressure situations
- Available for full-time employment with overtime flexibility
