Senior Java/J2EE Programmer | Calabasas, CA
Job Summary
The Company is searching for a Senior Java/J2EE Programmer who will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based enterprise-grade server architecture. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently on their tasks, yet capable of mentoring a growing development team to support a highly-interactive, high-performance user experience and social networking environment. This position reports to the Engineering Manager of the Network Team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain J2EE/Tomcat, and other Java-based applications
- Integrate with a variety of back-end systems
- Collaborate with web-design teams on front-end and web-services logic
- Write clear, well-written, object-oriented code
- Thrive in a fun, intense, engaging environment with plenty of design kudos
Requirements
- 5 years professional experience as a Java/J2EE programmer
- Proven experience with Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL
- Strong foundation with the Play Framework or similar LAMP-style environment
- Solid understanding of multi-threaded, asynchronous, and distributed computing
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- HTML and JavaScript/AJAX experience a plus
- Significant audio or music experience a MAJOR plus!
